Indian Time for Children

In cooperation with our neighbors Kenners Landlust, guests who room with us, can book full board or single meals with them. Also there is a child day care available, “forest time”, a program scheduled for 20 hours per week: costs amount to € 75,-- for the first child, and € 50,-- for each additional child..

A special project running parallel to the „forest time“ is organized by Joachim Irmer. It takes place at school vacation times, i.e. spring, summer and fall. (Please see schedule for more information, prices like “forest time”). „Indian Time“ is designed for children ages 8 – 13 to learn a lot about traditional Indian culture and ceremonies: building up a tepee, making your own rattler, learning songs and about the drum, shooting bow and arrow, and the sweat lodge ceremony.

Parents are welcome to join their children for a day project: building a ceremonial fire and getting the sweat lodge ready, and in the afternoon a nice short sweat for the whole family. Costs: € 35,-- for an adult with 1 child; € 50,-- for the whole family.
